Dr. Sarah “Jody” Welch grew up on a farm in Rural Ohio and is So Excited to Live Here & Serve West Texas! Before she was old enough to drive, she was driving tractors, backhoes, and bobtail trucks on the farm. She received her dental degree in 1987 from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and continued her dental education by completing a GPR at Cleveland Metropolitan General/Highland View Hospital in 1988. Dr. Welch practiced general dentistry for the next 16 years. During this time, she actively pursued and received her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Welch has served LSU School of Dentistry achieving the rank of full-time assistant professor and clinical course director for the Department of Restorative and Biomaterials. Because of her passion and lifetime learning, Dr. Welch trains Endodontic residents as a Part-Time Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. After years in the big city, she has decided to move back to the countryside and her roots she loves so much!
